Susan R. Hood, 50 of Lorain, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 following a sudden illness.
Born May 4, 1963 in Elyria, she had been a resident of Lorain for over 20 years. Susan graduated from Elyria High School in 1981. For the past 6 months, Susan had been working as a nurse's aid at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon. Prior to this, she worked as a nurse's aid at Oak Hills Nursing Center in Lorain.
Susan enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her son Devin.
Surviving is her son Devin; parents, Dwight (Lenora) Hood of Lorain, and Patricia Houston of Elyria; brothers, James of Columbia Station and Michael of Ellicott City, Maryland; and a sister, Dolores Tomasik of Havasu City, Arizona.
