Robin Garcia

Robin Garcia, 49, of Alliance, formerly of Lorain, died on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital unexpectedly.
Robin was born on February 24, 1964 in Lorain, moving to Alliance in 2007.
He was a 1982 graduate of Lorain High School and he had also attended Lorain County Community College.
Robin was employed as a security guard at Alliance Community Hospital for the past 2 years, prior to this he was a Correctional Officer at Mansfield Correctional Institute for many years.
He was a member of Templo Emmanuel Church, Lorain, where he was a former musical director.
Robin enjoyed playing guitar, bass, being a former Sunday School teacher, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Nereida Garcia, Sr. of Lorain, grandmother, Juanita Garcia, of Lorain, daughters, Vanessa (Bryant) Bond, Raquel (Norberto) Marrero, both of Lorain, three grandchildren, brothers, Frank Garcia, Jr, of Lorain, Uri (Kim) Garcia, of Lodi, sister, Dina (Nelson) Perez, of Lorain, aunts, Lillian Matos and Jenny Rivera, uncle, Israel Garcia, companion, Cindy Rodenbucher, of Alliance, best friend, Joe McElroy and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francisco Garcia, uncles, Bienvenido Garcia, Benjamin Garcia and Freddie Garcia.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. at Templo Emmanuel Church, 4230 Clinton Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
