Peggy L. Gray (nee Knapp), 77 of Sheffield Twp, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on August 1, 2014.
Born July 26, 1937 in Pedro, Ohio, Peggy lived in Lorain most of her life.
She graduated from Clearview High School in 1956. Peggy enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, sewing and reading books.
Surviving are her children, Linda Commerford of Lorain, Peggy (Oscar) Carrion of Lorain, Marsha (Tom) Earls of Amherst, Gary (Patty) Commerford of North Ridgeville, Brenda (Bob) Bumgardener of Oberlin, Jodie (Charles Sowell) Commerford of Lorain and Patty Gray of Elyria; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Mike) Gornall of Amherst and Karen Bennett of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by husband of 29 years, Donald C. "Pete" Gray in 2006; a daughter, Barb Commerford in 1993; and brothers, Gary Knapp and Jimmy Knapp.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:30 am in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
