Nikki L. Majcher, (nee Jeffords) age 65, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at her residence, while under the care of New Life Hospice, following a short illness.
She was born on December 21, 1947 in Columbus, OH to the late Charles and Evelyn (nee Tennihill) Jeffords, moving to Lorain in 1955.
Nikki was a 1965 graduate of Lorain High School. She was employed as a claim examiner for Ohio Department of Job and Family Services for 42 years.
She enjoyed tole painting and crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mark Majcher, brother, Ralph Jeffords, of Lorain, sisters, Rebecca Milota, Patricia A. Weaver, both of Amherst, and many nieces, nephews including the neighborhood kids that she loved.
She was predeceased by her parents: Charles H. "Jeff" Jeffords in 2001, and Evelyn J. "Debby" (nee Tennihill) Jeffords in 2008, and a brother, Carl E. Jeffords in 2004.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Arnold Fleagle, pastor of Trinity Evangelical Church, Amherst will officiate.
