Maria I. Agosto

Maria I. Agosto, age 64, of Lorain, died on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Life Care Center of Westlake, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 18, 1950 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, moving to this area in 1977. Maria's past employment has been in housekeeping at Holiday Inn in Elyria, prior to this she was employed at Green Circle Growers and Western Enterprises in Westlake.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel. Maria enjoyed playing bingo, playing the lottery, collecting porcelain dolls and porcelain bears. She was also a big Mets Fan.
She is survived by her son, Ernesto (Maria) Vasquez, Jr. of Lorain, grandchildren, Angelica Vasquez, Marcos, Vasquez, Damari Smith and Francisco Smith; a brother, Raul Agosto, of Jacksonville, NC and a sister, Irma Agosto, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Agosto and Maria Modesta Agosto, brothers, Francisco Agosto, Angel Agosto, Tomas Agosto.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. followed by mass at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
