Dolores J. "Toots" Silagy, (nee Bodnar), age 76, of Lorain, died on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 9, 1936 in Lorain. Dolores enjoyed cooking, watching old movies and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by son: Frank Silagy, with whom she made her home, daughters: Wendy (Leonard) Krzak, of Elyria, Denise Teeter, of Lorain, and grandchildren: Vicki Krzak-Hanna, Joseph Krzak, James, William and Christopher Glover and Michael Teeter. Great Grandchildren: Traci, Steven and Brian Hanna and Chelsea Glover.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Frank J. Silagy in 1983, daughter: Susan Glover - Londo, in 2002, son: John J. Silagy in 2007, father: John R. Bodnar, and mother: Rose (nee Plazo) Bodnar, brothers: John "Jay" Bodnar and Joseph W. Bodnar.
Private family services will be held at a later date. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
