Diana L. Los (nee Sklar), age 45, of Elyria, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following a lengthy illness.
Born on December 10, 1967 in Cleveland, she lived in Westlake and Lorain before moving to Elyria in 2006.
She was a 1985 graduate of Westlake High School. Diana enjoyed fishing, gardening, visiting casinos, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, John Los Jr. of Elyria; her father, Morris Sklar of North Olmsted; daughters, Danielle Oster of Cleveland, and Michelle Oster of Sheffield Lake; step-sons, John Los III and Jeramie Los both of Lorain; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Billy (Jean) Sklar of North Ridgeville; and sisters, Colleen Patton of Lakewood, Dorothy Smith of North Olmsted and Bonnie Herbster of Brooklyn, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline (nee Kasayka) Sklar in 1999.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where a memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm. Rev. Fr. John C. Retar, pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, Lorain, will officiate.
